JOB BRIEF:

This position is ideal for skilled Metal Structures Assemblers and Steel Fitters with experience in assembling, fitting, and installing steel structures. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assemble and fit metal structures for shipbuilding, industrial plants, and large-scale projects according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Work with steel beams, columns, and other metal components, ensuring accurate and secure assembly.
• Use various tools and equipment to measure, cut, shape, and fit metal parts.
• Perform alignment, bolting, and welding of structural components on-site as required.
• Inspect and verify the accuracy of work, ensuring it meets project specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate with other team members, including welders and project managers, to ensure the timely completion of tasks.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and standards while working with metal materials and equipment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a Metal Structures Assembler or Steel Fitter (minimum 3 years).
• Strong knowledge of reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to work with various metal materials, tools, and machinery used in structural assembly.
• Ability to measure, cut, and fit metal parts with precision.
• Certification in relevant metalworking or fitting disciplines (advantageous but not required).
• Basic English language skills (minimum A2 level).
• Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
