KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform carpentry work, including the construction, installation, and repair of wooden structures in various projects such as ships, industrial plants, and residential buildings.
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the specifications and dimensions of wooden structures.
  • Work with various types of wood and related materials to craft, assemble, and install custom wood components.
  • Use a variety of hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble wooden structures.
  • Ensure that all work meets quality standards, project requirements, and safety regulations.
  • Install wooden fixtures, doors, windows, and frameworks in construction projects.
  • Maintain, repair, and refurbish existing wooden structures as required.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and welders, to ensure efficient project completion.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a Carpenter, with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Proficient in using a variety of carpentry tools (both hand tools and power tools).
  • Knowledge of different wood types and their specific uses in construction.
  • Ability to work independently and manage carpentry tasks effectively.
  • Basic English language skills (minimum A2 level).
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
